This is one of my favorite days, even though we don't do much to celebrate. This morning, I gave Lil' Kay his Valentine - a Matchbox snake attack playset (festive, dontha think?) and a big Reese's chocolate peanut butter heart. I didn't get anything for Mr. Kay. Sounds terrible, doesn't it? Cards are wasted on him, and we'll be going on our annual weekend getaway at the end of the month, so I figured that's enough. Now, if a big bouquet of flowers shows up at my desk today, I might have to run to the store...
Last night, I was super-busy making cupcakes and cookies. I made red velvet cupcakes for Lil' Kay's daycare class. You know, because preschoolers need more red food coloring in their diet. I made no-bake cookies to bring to work. Because working moms need more chocolate in their diet.
Tonight we are having fondue for dinner. I'm making a pot of chocolate fondue and a pot of cheese fondue. It should be fun! Hopefully, I'll remember to take some pictures of that!

As a working mum, couldn't survive a day without copious amounts of CHOCOLATE, sadly the size of my behind can testify to that!!
And chocolate fondue for dinner, well I'm on the next plane to USA, expect a knock at your door......
